Perfect location for exploring Reykjavik
Our families enjoyed all 4 of the apartments in this building, and agree it was the PERFECT place to make our stay in Reykjavik. Easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, bars, and attractions. Highly recommend!

The place is awesome, the The few of the church is magnificent. And the location is very good very convenience. Because of the location is so good. I just need to walk across the road to join my tour. Is like 1 min away.

Großes Appartement, zentral gelegen
Das Appartement ist sehr geräumig und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Persönliche Begrüßung und Schlüsselübergabe, schnelle Kommunikation. Es war alles vorhanden, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Wir hätten uns mehr Teller und Gläser gewünscht sowie mehr Sauberkeit in Küche und Bad. Bedingt durch die zentrale Lage ist manchmal Lärm zu hören, für uns war es erträglich. Der große Vorteil ist die wirklich zentrale Lage, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind einfach und zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Busse (für Touren oder zum Flughafen) fahren direkt gegenüber bei der Kirche ab. Wer mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, kann einen überdachten Abstellplatz nutzen, die Wohnung ist mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Eine Bäckerei ist in wenigen Gehminuten entfernt, ebenso ein kleiner Supermarkt. Ein Restaurant mit guter Küche ist das KOL, das ebenfalls gleich um die Ecke liegt. Es werden verhältnismäßig preisgünstige Menüs in guter Qualität angeboten. Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt in Reykjavik und können dieses Appartement empfehlen.

Fabulous location, impeccable apartment
This was a PERFECT place to stay in Reykjavik! I rented this for myself and my parents for a week, and it was just the right size. Slightly smaller than the photos suggest, but fine for three people who were mostly out exploring during the day. The views are as-advertised, right in front of the church - which also makes it easy for pick-up for any day tours as bus stop number 8 is right at the church (a two minute walk). It's a 5-10 minute walk straight into the heart of the city. The only downside was that if you leave the windows open you can hear EVERYTHING that happens on the street below, and it's a fairly busy walking area. But if you close them it's negligible. Well appointed, a kitchen with dishwasher and the basics. Kjartan was responsive. We felt incredibly lucky to have found this place!

Great location!
The apartment is in a excellent location, you can walk to the Main Street with tons to restaurants and shopping and more importantly you get a fantastic view of the church. The place is close to bus stop #8 which is super convenient in case one decides to take guided tours. The apartment is clean, comfortable, modern with plenty of amenities. The host was very helpful and always a phone call way to help.

Amazing apartment

Great clean apartment in the heart of it all
My family of 4 had a great time in Þórsgata Green, easily popping in and out of downtown Reykjavik, and of course being as close to Hallgrímskirkja as one could be. Easy check in/out process, very clean as well, and onsite parking was a plus.

Gorgeous apartment with beyond perfect location
We absolutely loved this apartment. It has the most gorgeous view and is perfectly located within less than a minute walk to anything you need. The apartments amenities more than met expectations. The WiFi was strong and reliable. The kitchen was very nicely stocked with anything one could need to cook. We appreciated the decor and homey touches that made the stay so comfortable. The parking spot was convenient and easy. Check in/out was a breeze. We appreciated the recommendations and extremely fast communication with the owner.

Communication with our contact, Kjartan, was not easy. We had sent several emails prior to our stay with no response (several weeks before and also a few days before). We did not have check-in instructions until the day before our stay. The host said he would meet us at the location but did not come. Luckily, we had WiFi access and called him (I’m not sure what we would have done if we weren’t able to call him because he did not sound like he received my two emails detailing our arrival time). He then instructed us to get the key from a lock box. He subsequently came to the property because we needed access to the laundry unit and there were linens in the unit that he needed to remove. The unit itself is modern and clean. The location is great with parking onsite. The hot water has a sulfuric smell but this is typical around Reykjavik. There was plenty of room for our group of six. Overall it was a good experience and a nice place.

The lock box was very difficult to open, and I was uncomfortable with the issue with the cot, which should have remained in the room, or have been in the room when we arrived. Otherwise, the location and apartment were great. Thanks

Great apartment and location!
Beautiful, roomy, apartment, with all the things you need to feel at home. 2 parents and 2 kids, we would have stayed here longer if we could. We were late leaving for the harbor, otherside of downtown, and made it there in time as the location is so close.
